Photo Shoot

I took the kids to my favorite photographer (Little Things Portrait Studio) to have Anden's 2 year pictures taken and then some pictures of the kids together.  Anden was a little stinker... normally the happy-go-lucky toddler turned Terrible Two's just in time for his pictures!  Agh!  Fortunately, Kristen & Adrian worked their magic and got some very good photos of them.  I can't wait to get them back!

After we finished up there, we came home and I took the kids back to the lake for our own little photo shoot.  The kids love acting wild & crazy and I love catching them in these silly moments that I can now relish in F-O-R-E-V-E-R! 



End of another school year... This can't be!!

Kaylee's 2nd Grade Class

Kaylee's favorite thing about the 2nd grade was getting a laptop for the year.  All the 2nd graders at her school had their very own laptop throughout the entire year.  It came home with her everyday.  She had homework and study guides, took Advanced Reading tests on it, learned how to surf the Internet, played games of course, and learned how to video herself reading a story.  Her final assignment was to make a picture slide show of her 2nd grade year and had music playing in the background.  It was pretty amazing how much she learned.

On the first day of school I remember him coming home and telling me that,
"My teacher is in love with me because she told me she couldn't wait until tomorrow to see me again."

Jacob's class field trip to the French Lick.  They got to ride the train from French Lick to Cuzco.

After the train ride they stopped in Birdseye for icecream.  This is Jacob and his buddy Ryan.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Jacob is having the time of his life in baseball this year.  Everyone comments how he's always got a smile on his face.  In just 4 games, he's hit 3 home runs and got several outs, including a double in which he caught a fly ball at first base and tagged the runner out between first and second.  He didn't even realize what he'd done until his coach explained it all to him.  His favorite position is first base.
